Kids' Area
The Kids' Area is one of the most popular features at Festinho every year, providing the perfect place for small people to get stuck in and play, with a
wide range of activities. In fact the only problem is keeping the big kids out - 2008 ended up with a glitter wrestling competition in the paddling pool after the kids had finished with it. They thought the oldies were well uncool.

Angel Gardens
As they say, 'our beautiful gardens and majestic structures invite you to come and let your creative juices get flowing, your feet dancing and your minds and souls rested. At Angel Gardens we have lots of creative folk who let you come and try all sorts of fab and lovely things, all for free and with lots of love for everyone.'
Some examples of the types of things on offer to see and do:
Caractacus Potts: Our Tea shop is open all day and late into the night, and you can decorate a pot and take it home when you leave!
Soul Pads: We have a lovely collection of Soul Pads, magnificent bell tents where you can sit and chill on the cushions and throws. There will be arts and crafts about, books and games. Feel free to enjoy.
Workshops: Over the weekend we will be holding lots of workshops for you to make your mark. You can plant some veg, make jewelry, make a willow lantern, add your mark to the Festinho mural, make sun catchers and much much more.
Make A Wish! our Wish Tree will be on site for you to make a wish; your wish will travel to the many other festivals this year and will stay on the tree forever!!
HoldaHand: Get involved with the biggest urban arts project in the country. Come and take a little hand, register it, decorate it, keep it, take pics and be creative. After a year, send it back to be exhibited with all 32,000 of the other hands.
Weddings: Get married at Angel Gardens! You don’t have to be a couple; friends can marry here too, even families can show their love…. Turn up and make a time, or contact Angel Sam at sam_pattison_obrien [at] hotmail [dot] com.
Fairy Wings and Dressing-Up: visit our shop, Truly Scrumptious, full of from fairy wings, cowboy hats, pirate costumes, feather masks, wands, crowns and wigs, all cheap as chips and tons of fun for all.
Face painting: Our face painter is not just for kiddies (although they are welcome)…. We specialize in body painting as well as faces… so come along and let us freestyle on you.
Kids' Carnival
A kids' carnival procession though the site on Sunday at 4.15pm, led by samba band The Magic Drum Orchestra. So you might want to think about getting your carnival costumes ready on Saturday; mind you, anything goes so you don't even have to wear fancy dress if you don't want to! Just come along and join in the fun.
